ADAR DocIntel Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Agomonia Labs ("Agomonia Labs," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the ADAR DocIntel mobile app and web experience (together, the "Service"). ADAR DocIntel is built on the ADAR platform, Agomonia Labs' Agentic AI assistant framework, and lets you upload documents and videos, ask questions about them, summarize and compare them, and use the Knowledge Academy learning tools built on top of that content.
1. An account is required
Unlike some of our other product previews, ADAR DocIntel requires a real account. Creating one asks for your name, email address, and a password; we send a verification link to your email before your account can sign in, and every sign-in is protected by a one-time code ("OTP") sent to your email. Everything described below -- your documents, videos, conversations, and Academy activity -- is tied to your account, and to any workspace you choose to share it in.
2. Information We Collect
Account information
- Your name, email address, and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
- Workspaces you create or are added to, and your role within them.
Documents and videos you upload
- The files themselves (documents, PDFs, and videos), stored in secured cloud storage.
- Text extracted and indexed from those files (in searchable chunks) so you can ask questions about them, plus any classification, tags, or summaries you generate.
- For video, an extracted timeline of segments, key frames, and transcribed audio, generated so you can browse and ask questions about specific moments in the video.
Questions you type or speak
- The text of questions you ask about your documents or videos, and the assistant's answers, including which documents were used to ground each answer.
- If you tap the microphone to ask a question by voice, your voice recording is sent to our servers and forwarded to Google's Gemini models to transcribe it into text. Voice recordings are used only to produce that transcription and are not kept longer than needed to do so.
Voice is entirely optional -- everything in the App works by typing alone.
Knowledge Academy activity
If you participate in a course (as a learner, instructor, or advisor), we additionally process:
- Curriculum content an instructor authors (modules, lessons, objectives).
- Assignments, your submissions to them (written text and any documents you attach), and the resulting review -- including an automated first-pass AI evaluation against the instructor's rubric, and any feedback or score an instructor adds afterward.
- Practice-question results, lesson progress, and the resulting mastery/competency summary.
- Questions you ask a course's instructor or advisor, and their replies.
- If you're an instructor, a cohort-level dashboard summarizing your students' progress, at-risk indicators, and open questions -- built only from the data above.
Workspace sharing
Content you upload to a shared workspace (rather than your personal space) is visible to other members of that workspace according to their role, the same way a shared drive works. Content in your personal space is visible only to you.
Automatically collected technical information
Like most cloud-hosted apps, our backend infrastructure logs standard technical information (such as IP address, timestamps, and request diagnostics) for security, reliability, and debugging. The App itself does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
3. How We Use Information
- To answer your questions about your documents and videos, grounded in their actual content.
- To extract searchable text, timelines, and summaries from what you upload.
- To transcribe voice questions and recorded video audio.
- To run Knowledge Academy: deliver curriculum, grade practice questions, produce a first-pass AI evaluation of assignment submissions, and compute mastery and instructor-dashboard summaries.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service, including preventing abuse.
- To improve the accuracy and quality of the assistant over time.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use your documents, conversations, voice recordings, or Academy activity to serve you advertising.
4. How Information Is Processed and Shared
ADAR DocIntel runs on Google Cloud Platform. To provide the Service, your documents, videos, questions, and voice recordings are processed by:
- Google Cloud / Vertex AI (Gemini models) -- to understand your documents and videos, answer your questions, generate summaries and comparisons, transcribe voice and video audio, and produce the Academy's automated first-pass assignment evaluation.
- Google Cloud Storage -- to store the files you upload.
- A secured cloud database -- to store your account, documents' extracted text and metadata, chat history, workspace membership, and Knowledge Academy records described above.
Content you place in a shared workspace or course is shared with that workspace's or course's other members as described in Sections 2 and 3 above -- this is by design, not a third-party disclosure. We do not otherwise share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Agomonia Labs, our users, or the public.
5. Data Retention
Your account, uploaded documents and videos, and their extracted content are retained until you delete them or close your account. Voice recordings are processed to produce a transcription and are not retained beyond that processing. You can delete an individual document or video, or remove yourself from a workspace, at any time from within the App. You may also request deletion of your account and associated data using the contact details below, and we will honor reasonable requests.
6. Your Choices
You choose what to upload and whether to place it in a shared workspace or keep it personal. Voice input is optional everywhere it appears. You can delete documents, videos, and study artifacts you no longer want, and leave any workspace or course you no longer wish to participate in.
7. Children's Privacy
ADAR DocIntel is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards -- including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), password hashing, email-verified account creation, one-time-code sign-in, and access controls on our cloud infrastructure -- to protect information processed by the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
