Developers/Getting started

Quickstart

Connect your first integration

Register an application, authorize its scopes and workspace, choose REST or MCP, and verify one governed request end to end.

Step 1

Select the integration surface

REST

Applications and services

Best for backend services, portals, data pipelines, and explicit workflow orchestration.

REST guidance
MCP

AI clients and agents

Best for runtime discovery of tools, resources, schemas, and governed knowledge access.

MCP quickstart
Webhook

Completion notifications

Best for long-running uploads, video processing, batches, workflows, and packet events.

Step 2

Register and authorize

Use Authorization Code with PKCE for a person or Client Credentials for a confidential backend application. Approve both the scopes and the team workspaces the client may use.

Start with least privilege

For read-only testing, begin with workspaces:read documents:read knowledge:query. Add write, batch, workflow, event, video, generation, or learning:read, learning:participate, and learning:manage scopes only when required.

Step 3

Verify connectivity

Health check
curl https://mcp.docintel.adar.agomoniai.com/health
OAuth discovery
curl https://auth.docintel.adar.agomoniai.com/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server

Step 4

Make, observe, and govern the request

Carry a correlation identifier, store operation IDs, poll durable status, and configure webhooks. Validate workspace membership independently of OAuth scope, then confirm usage and trace attribution.
